Orientation: The
student is directed through the purpose of discussing misinterpretation
concerning substance misuse and learning how faith-based programs function. It
is a long-term drug & alcohol rehab as we have different phases
for our students to guide them to live a good life.
Phase 1: The student shares their personal narrative and
works to accept the consequences of their addiction, realizing how they have
undervalued and ruined relationships with others and with God.
During this phase,
fundamental training on what it means to live a Christian life and work in a
strong recovery program is also provided.
Phase 2: The learner is invited to reflect on their lives
and the significant events that affected their personality and conduct. They
also begin to work on the process of forgiving themselves and others, as well
as making reparations when necessary.
Phase 3: During this phase, the student begins to cope with
any personal trauma and pain that they may have avoided in the past by using
drugs.
They take the time to
talk to God and allow Him to lead them to a place of inner healing.
Phase 4: In this phase, students discover how their grief,
struggle, and transforming experience may now be used to benefit others. They
learn to be prepared as Christ's followers to share what they have experienced,
and they also learn to set boundaries to safeguard what they have been given
during this period.
